I grow plants and herbs in galvanized tubs, with success. Are there any holes in the bottom of your tub? If not, that is the problem, you have no drainage and the water you put in there is not going anywhere, just making a mucky mess in the bottom and suffocating your plants.

WORK AREA SAFETY IN INDUSTRIAL PLANTS

To make your work area safe you must know what hazards you can expect to encounter and what to do to control and eliminate them. The information contained here explains the importance of working safely and methods for controlling safety in your work area.

Here we briefly describe many of the hazards frequently encountered in plants like Built-in hazards, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Environmental hazards.

BUILT- IN HAZARDS: Certain features of plant layout and design like location of equipments, stairs, entrance and exits, the layout of floors, platforms, lighting arrangements, heating and ventilation systems are already exist i.e. built-in that you cannot change. These can cause accidents and the best you can do is to recognize and avoid them.

MECHANICAL HAZARDS: In various cases of accidents chances of moving parts of machinery or tools are involved. A worker has to take special care to keep his clothes, body and tools away from moving machinery. When a machine has to be shut down for repairs the machine electrical controls must be locked and warning signs must be posted on the panel like "Danger. Do not start, personnel working".

Working on pipe lines, tubing system will produce exposures to heat and pressure, avoid accident by isolate the system and cool down and de-pressurize it. 

Many plants have hand trucks, forklifts etc for moving material within the designated aisles, if a work is to be done near or traffic paths protect yourself and others by placing signs and barricades to warn traffic or else the result could be serious injury if your ladder is struck by passing vehicle. Do not place the tools and material in such a way that they are not a hazard to traffic by falling in the aisle.

Temporary scaffoldings, platforms are erected while working at heights, on buildings walls, roof and ceilings. These items should have railing and guards to keep workers, tools and materials from sliding and falling off the edge. Place signs below the scaffold to warn the passerby of the falling objects. Make sure a worker is attentive and cautious while working at height, as a slip could have been fatal. Ladders in use for working at height must be secured from both top and bottom and should be at safe angle, steps of ladders should be clear of tools, grease etc. Hanging scaffolding are secured by rope rigging from top and the platform should be level because if the rope at one end breaks or loose the platform can swing down to vertical position rapidly dumping off workers and material. Safety belts and harness should be use to secure yourself while working on heights and roofs.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: occasionally worker is required to work in hot conditions near boiler or heaters though such are normally insulated but generally there is some heat in the area. Place an air blower to supply cool air & expel the hot air. Prolong exposure in high temperature work areas can cause heat cramp and heat exhaustion. Severe and rapid stomach or muscle cramps are due to excessive loss of body moisture and salt. Dizziness, weak pulse, lower than normal body temperature, heavy sweating are the signs of Heat exhaustion. Taking Salt tablets and Drink water in moderate amounts are routine preventive measures for both heat cramps and exhaustion.

When working in enclosed areas, follow recommended safety measures. A person should be kept standby at the entrance, wear a safety harness and a lifeline so if you are overcome you can be pulled out. Enclosed space should be vented by air blower of toxic or inflammable fumes. Oxygen content in that space to be checked before entering. Do not wear nylon clothing and use non-sparking tool in an enclosed space to prevent sparking which can cause explosion in case working in a fuel tank. An explosion proof hand lamp should be used in such spaces.

Radiation from X-rays and radioactive material can cause severe damage to the human body. Wear special protective clothing to reduce exposure to the radiation. Radiation area should be clearly marked with radiation signs.

CHEMICAL HAZARDS: This is one of the most treacherous hazard, where chemicals are concerned one should know the properties and hazard of particular chemical involved. Read material safety data provided with it before handling. Wear protective clothes, gloves, fresh air mask and goggles or face shield. Make sure the chemical not to be splashed or spilled.

ELECTRICAL HAZARDS: Almost every job you perform will include exposure to electricity and its dangers. Avoid touching energized or hot wire. Always use equipment & tools, which are grounded and insulated. Do not use frayed, damaged or spliced chords. Avoid moist clothes, shoes, tools and hands. Metal objects and water is good conductor of electricity. Insulate nearby metal objects. Avoid wet surfaces and place insulating mats while working on panels.

I am a landscaper and designer. There are many evergreen shrubs you could incorporate along the back of your garden. Here are a few suggestions:

Chinese Pizazz or Loropetalum - evergreen shrub with green and purple leaves year around. Pinkish flowers appear in spring and summer.

Lemon Thread or Mop Cypress - evergreen variegated yellow and green leaves year around. Great compliment to the Emerald Green and Euonymus.

If you have some shade, consider some Camellias or Pieris Japonica. One goal you may have is to try and get color year around, with different plants blooming at different times.

BUT:

if the pond has been set up for 1 or 2 years + and is not overstocked, your fish will be fine for up to a month eating the algae in the pond and your aquatic plants, they may even snatch a few water bugs once in a while.

also, if the pond is mature and you only have maybe 10 goldfish and under 2 small koi your fish can live without you feeding until the koi grow huge!

Pupp rash is a very itchy skin condition that some women develop during the third semester of pregnancy. It also can occur at an earlier stage of pregnancy. Many women find it arises in the stretch mark areas of the abdomen but can develop on the legs, arms, butt and chest area as well.

Relapses of atopic dermatitis rashes are unfortunately quite common. By avoiding any allergic triggers as well as stress stimulants, rashes can be controlled. But we don't always know if we are having an allergic reaction or if our stress levels cause these itchy red bumps.

The home remedies include the mixing of the various fruit pastes, vegetable pastes along with milk and honey. Banana has a specific property of moisturizing the skin. Banana mashed and added along with milk is a perfect remedy for softening of the skin.

Try to air your baby out without any covering so that the air can circulate. You can try to do this for twenty minutes here and there to let the skin breathe. Don't keep a soiled diaper on your child for long.

If the skin still seems irritated after several days be sure to check to see if there may be a yeast reaction. If that is the case, nystatin is a good solution. Also check your child's neck as yeast can grow there in the crease area.

The circles can be red in color or yellow and some may be raised. It's contagious and often is spread in locker rooms, especially athlete's foot. It is a good idea to not share brushes or combs as scalp ringworm can be spread between people this way.

When a breakdown on the skin occurs a yeast infection skin rash can occur. It is usually characterized by red blotches that are flat in nature conforming to the surface of the skin. The edges of the yeast infection skin rash will have clearly defined scalloped edges.

There are many different things that can cause itchy skin: bug bites, dry air, or contact with a poisonous plant, to name a few. But that is not Eczema and usually clears up within a few days without treatment, maybe sooner with soothing lotions and creams.

A skin rash may an outbreak of red bumps or patches on the skin. Symptoms can include, itching, a burning sensation or sometimes a very rough surface as in some forms of eczema. There are several cause of skin rashes.

Cause

Some viral skin infections such as herpes or shingles can attack just one part of the body but other viral rashes can be more generalized across the body. Patients with these rashes may show additional problems such as coughing, nausea or sneezing.

Like the other viral skin rashes, molluscum can also disappear without any medication. It is advisable to clean the affected area with alcohol swab. Some physicians will cut through the lesion and remove contents.

The first sign of Eczema is itchy skin. The affected area then develops into a rash. The most common areas for Eczema to appear are on the face, knees, hands or feet, but can occur on other parts of the body as well. In most cases, this is where it stops.

To avoid any sort of skin problem, one should drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day to keep dry skin well hydrated. Along with it, eat a high quality healthy diet rich in fresh fruits, nuts and vegetables; get some exercise and the secret 8-hour sleep daily to get a healthy skin.

Treatments

Medical care for yeast infections skin rash is not usually warranted. If the symptoms are persistent and resist treatment you many need to consult with a health care professional for assistance.

If you are suffering from an immune system issue consult your physician immediately when the symptoms first appear. Self treatment in these cases can lead to an increased risk of internal infection.

Some people with ringworm experience extreme itching as well as cracked skin. This can increase the urge to scratch one's skin. Don't let yourself to fall into this pattern as fungus will continue to grow.
